Here you can find an example and use case for the ohsome API using jupyter notebooks.
In this special case it is about the use forest-related OSM-tags for four Canadian regions.

## Local Installation

Get the git repository.
```bash
git clone https://gitlab.gistools.geog.uni-heidelberg.de/giscience/big-data/ohsome/ohsome-api-analysis-examples/ohsome-green-regions.git
cd ohsome-green-regions
```

### Set up and activate virtual environment:

```bash
# Linux
python3 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate
```
or

```bash
# Windows
python3 -m venv venv
cd venv/Scripts
activate
cd ../..
```


### Install all required python-packages.
```
pip install -r requirements.txt
ipython kernel install --user --name=ohsome-green-regions
```

### Run jupyter notebook.
```bash
jupyter notebook
```
